In fact his seminar couldn’t have come at a better

Just hours later we were asked by
an Executive Marketing Officer for one of our top clients
to take a TV spot already created and come up with a way
for the VO to deliver a “quality” message “in
a fresh, new way” for her to present at an important
meeting just a few days later.
The worst part wasn’t that we had only 2 days to deliver
it—it was that we wouldn’t have the opportunity
to present our work.
We were going to have to post the cut so she could look
at it during her 5 minute break between meetings. She would
then call us with comments.
Well, our idea was basically that
the food footage in the spot looks so good, you don’t
need the VO to describe the quality. That could be done
with attitude.
So, having just been coached by Toni, we had the editor
add a super to the beginning of the cut that described our
idea in two sentences:
'Let the food show the quality. Let the attitude tell the
story.'
Well, she called us.
Her comments: 'Love it. Ship it.'
We can’t wait to get
Toni back in to do another session with the rest of our
