Executive
Trainer
After seeing an online video clip of Toni Louw conducting
a training seminar, Jed knew he wanted to be a part of Louws
Management. In October of 2007, Jed joined the Louws’ team
as an Executive Trainer. Immediately prior to that, Jed worked
in the financial industry as a mortgage loan officer.
Jed
has an extensive background in television news working for
NBC, Fox, and ABC affiliates across the country from Utah
and Mississippi to Washington. For nearly two years, Jed
served as the lead sports anchor for the 5:00 P.M., 6:00
P.M. and 10:00 P.M. news for the ABC affiliate in Greenville,
Mississippi. A month after he joined the station, Jed played
a key role in the station taking over #1 in the ratings and
maintaining that ranking throughout his time there.
After the stint in Mississippi, Jed switched from sports
to news and was named the lead evening news anchor at the
ABC affiliate in Yakima, Washington. During his nearly four
years there, he led the station to #1 in the key demographics.
He also served as the crime and courts reporters, spending
countless hours in the courtroom covering every type of legal
issue including murder trials. He videoed, wrote, and edited
all of his reports.
Jed also has an extensive background
in radio and television sports play-by-play. While in college
he was named the radio play-by-play voice for the Ogden
Raptors, which at the time was a part of the Milwaukee
Brewers’ minor league baseball
system. He also worked as a play-by-play announcer and sideline
reporter for Weber State University football and basketball.
While in Mississippi, he served as the radio and television
play-by-play voice for Delta State University football, basketball,
and baseball.
Jed has volunteered countless hours
to the Children’s
Miracle Network and Muscular Dystrophy Association helping
raise money for those in need.
Jed attended Weber State University in
Ogden, Utah and has a BS in Communications. He lives in South
Weber, Utah with his wife, Melissa and their two children,
Abbi, and Cooper. Jed grew up on the cattle ranch and is
a rodeo announcer in his spare time. He has announced professional,
